"O.K., God, this whole homeschooling thing is your idea, so you'll have to come up with a way to keep us home enough to get school done without me feeling like I'm in prison or the kids getting cabin fever."

You just start with a shell of an idea.  

"I'd like my kids to have all their activities on Wednesday"

Get a trustworthy friend involved. 

Heather (the master mind of this) said, "Hey, Jenn, would you like to organize a once-a-week co-op that had a nice variety of activities?"

Brainstorm about your dream activities

	"It has to involve all my ages of kids so some don't feel left out."
	"It has to be academically challenging enough for each age that I feel good about not doing our curriculum that day"
	"It has to be fun enough that I don't have to fight with the kids about going."

Let it grow from there and find a spot for each idea.

"What if we have an opportunity for the kids to get used to speaking in front of a group?  I've heard other moms wishing for the same thing.  Where can we put that?"

Rely on your strengths

"Here at the end of school, my creativity is GONE.  I don't think I can write any lesson plans, yet, but I'll make the fliers and keep track of sign-ups."

Set deadlines to keep yourself accountable

"I'm overwhelmed with all this today, so let's get together in 3 weeks and we'll each have one club mapped out as far as a schedule."

Ask for help & keep people informed

"This is an e-mail to all the moms who signed up for the Library Club.  We'll need some of the supplies donated.  Please let me know if you can donate an item or two of the following..."

"Whoa, God!!  I'm seriously stressed and overwhelmed, but everyone seems excited about this.  If you want this all to come off, you're going to have to pull it off, because it seems like a lot to me..."
