Drilling Games (Children will be divided by ages)

Ciphering - Math

Take A Bow - Bring a book report to read or recite a poem you've learned. For the Natives, this can be Show & Tell.

bulletDon't know shapes, colors
bulletLearning shapes, colors
bulletKnow shapes, colors, numbers
bulletAfter the math & spelling bees, take the children to a corner of the room & have "Show & Tell", emphasizing they don't have to have anything to show.  
bulletPlay any learning games with them you choose.  
bulletIf you'd like, you can always play Candyland or Chutes & Ladders.
Pioneers/Explorers
bulletAssist Teen Helpers in any areas needed:
bulletArranging the children into rows of skill levels
bullet1:45-2:15 Executing the Ciphering / Spelling Bees
bullet2:15 Allowing Natives time to settle into their group away from the larger group for their games
bullet2:20 - 2:40 Executing Mad Libs on the wipe-off board for the large group of big kids
bulletIf you desire, you may do any other group academic activities you desire 
bullethang a map on the board & quiz geography taking care to allow easy questions for the early elementary kids
bulletPlay a trivia quiz game you think the kids could all participate in keeping in mind your group is 1st - 7th graders.
bullet2:45 - 3:15 Breaking into smaller groups of like ages (all the 5 & 6 year olds together, etc.) for Take a Bow 
bulletShow & Tell, or a book report they wrote to be read outloud, or a poem they've memorized, etc.
bullet3:15 Watch the time & start any clean-up needed.
